Founded in 2004, Malin Friends opened its Kew centre in January 2008 and has proudly become a trusted leader in early childhood education across Kew, Hawthorn, and the wider Boroondara community.

We are passionate about creating exceptional early learning experiences and are deeply committed to delivering high-quality programs that support the needs of children and working families alike. Our focus on safety, consistency, and nurturing care ensures every child feels supported, valued, and inspired to learn.

We are proud to consistently achieve an Exceeding rating under the ACECQA National Quality Standard (NQS), reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in everything we do.

Malin Friends was created by teacher Claire Vellios, our Founder and Director, who works closely with the Malin Friends team to ensure our service delivers the best programs for our children and families. 

 

Malin Friends is located at 305 Barkers Road, Kew, Corner of Malin Street and is open Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) 7:30am to 6pm for 50 weeks per year with a two week closure over Christmas/ New year.
