Our learning philosophy is to provide programs that accommodate a variety of learning styles, for example, visual, sensory, auditory, musically, kinesthetically and spatially. We provide holistic programs which help children thrive cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically in a safe and nature based environment.
Nursery -
Aged 6 months to 3 years
Our Nursery rooms are located in the original Barkers Road house built in 1906. These rooms have been extensively renovated to comply with the Children’s Services Regulations yet still retain the many features of the original building. The Nursery rooms are designed to provide a homely, safe and secure environment for young children in which, trusting relationships can be developed. The Nursery rooms have access to natural playgrounds specifically designed to promote infant, toddler and pre kindergarten physical and social development and where children can play in natural, outdoor environments.

Kindergarten -
For children aged 3 years (Two or three years prior to school)
Our Kindergarten classrooms are located in the new, purpose-built facility. We offer two, three year old kindergarten programs including funded programs for eligible enrolments. The Kindergarten classes have direct access to the northern playgrounds and western verandah. Further, children can access our wonderful, natural outdoor gardens including the rock garden and western climbing space. Our programs are based on children’s interests and are developmentally and age appropriate which are play-based, encourage exploration of the environment, enhance children’s creativity and imagination and foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development. Programs accommodate a variety of learning styles and are implemented by qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teachers.

Pre Prep -
For children aged 4 and 5 years of age (the year prior to school entry)
The Pre Prep classroom is located in the new, purpose-built building and direct access to the northern playgrounds and easy access to the studio room located on the first floor. Pre Prep programs operate daily during term times between 9am and 3pm. Outside of these hours before and aftercare programs operate daily and holiday programs during non-term times.

Specialist Programs
Our weekly programs incorporate specialist programs including music, yoga, sports, art and language programs. The children travel to our beautiful studio space and engage with these formal and structured programs which aim to develop and foster a life-long love for these subjects.
